Document Imaging & Indexing
The Helion Software Document Indexing &
Imaging system is a feature rich set of programs to
help the county serve the public better while
increasing efficiency.
The Indexing system is integrated with our
Receipting system to flexibly pass any index
information entered, forward into the document
index. Each document can have multiple titles,
unlimited party names, legal descriptions, related
documents and user-defined indexes. Powerful
search tools provide easy access to any document
and related documents can be linked to quickly
move between them.
The programs include a rich set of imaging tools
including; Zoom, Pan, Rotate, Industry standard
TIFF Group IV format, thumbnails and support for
hundreds of scanners using industry standard ISIS
drivers. Our Batch Scanning process uses
barcoded labels to verify page counts and
automatically attach the image to the correct
document index.
The scanning, indexing and verification workflow
is completely tracked by the system allowing
supervisors to better manage resources.
The system includes image export for title
companies or for creating archival formatted film.
Documents and their images can also be accessed
through the web by internal departments, title
companies or the public.
